Porcelain veneers, or teeth movement, or both?

Porcelain veneers, or teeth movement, or bothHi, I’ve always wanted braces because my front teeth are large and stick out slightly, and the lateral incisors face forward rather than curve round. My top and bottom teeth don’t really line up either as you can see in the photo, making the left side of my face slightly bigger than my right. I’m wondering if veneers can fix these issues or whether I’d have to go with Invisalign first. FYI, I also have TMJ (usually on the right jaw) due to teeth clenching and slight sensitivity in front teeth.

ANSWER:
Since your front teeth are a bit protruded and you want to bring them in, porcelain veneers at this time is not advisable!
Why? because then the dentist must cut and shave a lot of healthy and precious teeth, to bring your teeth in, almost like a dental crown, in which can cause problems on the long run.for more information on porcelain veneers pros, cons, indications, click here: https://www.celebritydentist.com/porcelain-veneers/

My advise as a cosmetic dentist, is to first do your tooth movement , retract back your teeth, get the bite and occlusion right, then think about placing porcelain veneers if you want to change the shape and color of your teeth, permanently with dental veneers. You might also consider teeth bleaching prior to having veneers done.Which can be great idea to have a very conservative teeth preparation after bleaching if you desire veneers. for the pros and cons of teet

while you are going through tooth movement fixing the cross bite on your left side will expand your teeth more toward your cheek side, so you do not show a black corridor, as it is more evident on the left side.
After teeth movement then see a veneer dentist, for consultation, if you want to change the shape and color with porcelain veneers.
