Options for long teeth, slanted teeth, shape and color?
I’m not happy and self conscious about my teeth and smile, I need to change my teeth. My front two teeth are long and have a slight slants. I want whiter teeth and smile since I also am not happy about the color of them all. Veneers could fix the teeth next to my front two, but I am unsure about the front two themselves as it would make them longer? Thanks for any help in advance!
Self conscious About My Teeth, What Are My Options?
Porcelain veneers for your 4 front teeth will be the best option. But the x-rays and your bite needs to be checked prior to making any decision. Veneers require shaving of your teeth, but the final outcome is porcelain, which is very strong, permanent, and color stable. If you want to change the color dramatically then more than 4 veneers are required to match all your teeth. After then do teeth bleaching on the rest of your teeth, however teeth whitening may not match the veneers, and even if they do, the color can match for short period of time since the color can shift back! If finance is a problem, the more conservative dental treatment would be using a combination of dental bonding, bleaching and cosmetic contouring of your smile line.Dental bonding cost less than porcelain veneers and are more conservative dental treatment, however, they are not as strong as porcelain veneers. If time is not a problem and you do not mind wearing braces, you can intrude the 2 front teeth, meaning shorten them, by pushing them inside the bone and straighten your teeth and afterward have teeth bleaching treatment.
